We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our two Primary Care practices located in Natick and Wellesley, MA!We offer a full range of primary care services for patients at both sites – from routine check-ups and health screenings to complex diagnostic evaluation and treatment. We diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and promote general health, disease prevention and overall well-being.Our Natick practice is located at 307 West Central Street and consists of a team of 3 providers and 6 staff members (clinical and non-clinical). We have exciting plans to grow this team up to 6 providers and 12 staff members.Our Wellesley practice is located at 981 Worcester Street and consists of a team of 6 providers and 9 staff members (clinical and non-clinical).In addition to leading day-to-day operations at both sites, the Practice Manager will play a key role in driving strategic growth initiatives, helping to expand both practices by enhancing operational efficiency, supporting provider recruitment and retention, improving patient access, and identifying opportunities to grow services and patient volume. Our practices are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the Practice Manager is expected to maintain an onsite presence for the majority of operating hours.In collaboration with the Director of Operations, Primary Care and the Medical Directors, the Practice Manager will be responsible for all aspects of site operations, oversight of budgets, quality measures and will work collaboratively with administrative, clinical, and leadership teams to achieve operational and clinical care goals.The ideal candidate is an adaptable and dynamic people leader with proven operational experience who is proactive, autonomous, and brings a strategic, creative mindset to problem-solving and continuous improvement. We are seeking an individual who excels at building relationships, motivating teams, and aligning individuals around shared goals while serving as an effective communicator and collaborator.SummaryResponsible for single-site practice or smaller multi-site practices (3 or more locations). Provides direct supervision of administrative and clinical support staff, and operational duties and functions. As a member of the leadership team, provides administrative cross coverage to manage staffing and/or operational issues.Does this position require Patient Care? NoEssential Functions-Oversees the day-to-day administrative performance of secretarial and clinical support staff and manages staff schedules.-Evaluates daily staffing needs and coordinates replacement of staff.-Performs hiring, orientation, and evaluation of staff. Administers corrective action if appropriate.-Assists in the career development of practice employees through ongoing coaching, counseling, and training.-Ensures that all mandatory training is completed by staff and that HIPAA policies and procedures are adhered to by staff.-Evaluates, develops, and implements administrative systems and procedures designed to maximize practice operations. Regularly evaluates and analyzes practice performance metrics to ensure optimal outcomes.-Collaborates with practice leaders on the preparation of the practice's annual budgets.-Oversees the department’s payroll, including the resolution of payroll issues.
