Overview
Performs various radiographic service (i.e., positions patient prior to performing radiographic exposures, operates and maintains all radiographic equipment).
Qualifications
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
- Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Necessary Skills: Knowledge of radiographic procedure and practices.
- Required Licensure/Certifications:
- BLS from the American Heart Association.
- Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist). American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification or must provide proof of program completion and temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license at time of hire.
- Must have passed the ARRT Certification exam and obtain Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of the date of hire/transfer.
- Required Experience: Less than one year of radiological experience and formal training.
