PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

LOCATION

Plano, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $19–$21/hr

• Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM

• Contractor position

• Mandatory overtime as required

ROLE IMPACT

The Pharmacy Technician supports accurate and timely fulfillment of patient medication orders in a high-volume central fill pharmacy environment. Working under the direction of pharmacy operations leadership, this role helps maintain medication accuracy, inventory flow, patient safety, and compliance with treatment plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support medication dispensing and fulfillment of patient orders to help ensure medications are delivered on time.

• Process work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-based environment with hourly productivity goals.

• Assist with inventory management and medication order flow while maintaining accuracy and patient safety.

• Identify and address potential quality issues according to pharmacy procedures and escalate concerns when appropriate.

• Work independently with minimal guidance and move between workstations as operational needs require.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

• Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician registration/license as required for the position.

• Ability to meet applicable requirements for pharmacy technician work in Texas.
