Facility:
This comprehensive healthcare network operates The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine, dedicated to providing the Southern New England region with access to expertise in advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine therapies. The facility is committed to supporting both newly graduated and experienced providers through mentorship, on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and procedural development opportunities.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners - Other Specialties

Job Details:

Perform comprehensive diagnosis and wound assessment of patients
Order and interpret appropriate lab tests, imaging studies, radiographic and cardiac imaging studies
Manage Hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments
Coordinate care of assigned patients including nursing care, nutrition, medications, dressings, and adjunctive wound therapies
Review patient charts, write progress notes, tabulate data, and complete required medical record documentation
Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program and licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant, or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner through a national board certification body required
Wound care certification or experience preferred; training in Hyperbaric Therapy will be provided
Monday through Friday schedule
