Advanced Practitioners - Other Specialties Job Details:
- Perform comprehensive diagnosis and wound assessment of patients
- Order and interpret appropriate lab tests, imaging studies, radiographic and cardiac imaging studies
- Manage Hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments
- Coordinate care of assigned patients including nursing care, nutrition, medications, dressings, and adjunctive wound therapies
- Review patient charts, write progress notes, tabulate data, and complete required medical record documentation
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program and licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
- Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant, or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner through a national board certification body required
- Wound care certification or experience preferred; training in Hyperbaric Therapy will be provided
- Monday through Friday schedule
