Jenks Public Schools Job DescriptionPosition: School Bus Driver (Full time and part time positions available)Reports to: Director of TransportationSupervises: NoneQualifications:High School diploma or GED required.Commercial driver's license.Good driving record.Complies with all state requirements.Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.Position Goal: To provide safe transportation of students to and from designated locations.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Drives bus to transport student over specified route to and from school according to the time schedule.Assures safety of passengers.Complies with local traffic regulations.Keeps assigned bus clean.Checks bus before each operation for mechanical defects.Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.Employment Terms: Nine (9) month classified hourly contractFLSA Qualification: Non-ExemptEvaluation: Jenks Public Schools Classified EvaluationPhysical Demands: This is an overview intended for compliance with the ADA – it is not an exhaustive list of the duties to be performed.
