Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit

Location: La Porte, IN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM; no on-call requirements.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Intermediate Care Unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working in a collaborative environment, and floating to Med/Surg as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN licensure in Indiana.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred, but not required.
