Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby Advocate Sherman Hospital, Elgin IL – Full Time Nights (3–12‑hour shifts, .9 FTE, with every 3rd weekend). 36 hours per week, Night Shift on the Mother Baby Unit. About This Location Join a team of highly engaged nurses on the Mother Baby Unit in the Family Birthing Center at Advocate Sherman Hospital. The center has 10 Labor Beds, 5 Antepartum, 10 Triage, 2 OB ORs, 24 Mother Baby beds, and 16 Intermediate Care Nursery Beds, with 150–175 deliveries per month. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification What You’ll Do Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
