Yard Worker

Yard AssistantTo perform all assigned duties in the yard to assist with quality customer service.Responsibilities:Load company vehicles in accordance with delivery invoices to include lifting and carrying merchandise, lumber and building materials.Prepare customer orders to include retrieving merchandise and materials from storage areas in accordance with customer invoices.Operate fork lift to load, unload and stock merchandise as needed.Put away product and keep lumber piles neat and organizedAdhere to all approved company policies and procedures.Report customer complaints to Manager or Officers.Inventory goods and notify Manager of shortages and needed goods to be ordered.Perform other related duties as assigned.Removal & Shoveling of Snow from material piles and yard during Winter MonthsSkills:Customer ServiceBasic Math SkillsBasic Reading SkillsLifting up to 100 poundsEducation/Training: Experience:Prior lumber yard experience helpful.Prior building materials experience helpful.Certifications/Licenses: Fork LiftFull Time Benefits:Paid Time OffCompany Paid Health InsuranceDental InsuranceGroup Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401K plan with company matchDiscretionary BonusesHealth Savings AccountEmployee DiscountsPosition Reports to: Store ManagerPay Range is based on Total CompensationMonday - Friday 7:00 - 5:00pm Rotational Saturdays 7:00 -5:00pm 45+
