Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:


Seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room RN to provide compassionate emergency care in a busy hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, stabilizing, and managing acute patients while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize emergency care based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and execute procedures such as IV insertions and lab draws.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Participate in shift huddles to communicate ongoing patient needs and unit updates.
• Adhere to hospital policies on dress code, safety, and EMTALA requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of emergency department experience.
• Level II or Level III trauma experience required.
• Certification in TNCC, ENPC, or PALS; ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Demonstrate compassion, urgency, and teamwork in fast-paced environments.
• Skilled in assessments, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including 7am-7pm schedules.
