CT/X-ray Technologist

This full-time CT/X-ray Technologist role supports the imaging department at the organization in Akron, Ohio. The position delivers high-quality CT and X-ray studies, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. It offers career stability within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
2. Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during all imaging processes
3. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions
4. Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records
5. Assist with contrast injections and monitor patients for reactions
6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images
7. Maintain compliance with safety, radiation protection, and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
• Valid Ohio Radiologic License
• BLS certification required

Preferred Skills:

• ARRT (CT) certification or willingness to obtain within a specified period
• At least 1 year of experience in both CT and X-ray imaging
