Answers the telephone promptly in a customer-friendly manner.Collects and verifies accurate patient information and enters it into the registration system. Receives payment for services and correctly completes charge slips for data entry.Committed to being a team player by performing all duties as required or assigned to provide quality patient care.The individual will also have responsibility to uphold the policies and procedures of Hillcrest Healthcare System.Job Requirements:High School Diploma or GED.Excellent written/verbal/telephone communication skills.Basic computer knowledge.Basic understanding of insurance, referrals, and medical records.Preferred Job Requirements:Previous customer service experience.Previous medical office experience.
