Job Summary:
The city of Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) for a night shift. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves performing scrub duties, maintaining sterile supplies and technique, assisting with surgical care, and preparing case carts according to surgeon preferences.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; graduation from a formal, accredited surgical technologist program; at least 1 year of obstetrics (OB) experience as a surgical technician; 2 years of surgical technician experience with a strong focus on OB; BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: One year of clinical experience in an accredited hospital setting.
• Additional Information: Candidates may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. The role may also require on-call during scheduled shifts.
