Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting, demonstrating core clinical skills and competencies expected at this level of care
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner using Epic EMR
• May be assigned to an Emergency Team by the unit manager during declared emergency events, with an expectation to remain at the facility until the event passes or to serve as part of a relief team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Compact or Louisiana state license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications required — AHA-issued certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and must be current (within 4 weeks of submission date)
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (based on address on driver's license) to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
• Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors at this health system must have been separated for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma ICU environment
• Strong familiarity with critical care protocols and ventilator management
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical settings
