X Ray Technologist

Description Bay Area Foot Care is part of Balance Health, the nation’s premier comprehensive lower-extremity focused Physician Practice. Our team has an immediate need to hire a reliable, hard‑working, experienced X‑Ray Technician. This is a full‑time role located in Pleasanton, California. The Limited Purpose X‑Ray Technician/Medical Assistant will have attained full proficiency in the discipline and will be responsible for taking required patient images with technological equipment. Responsibilities include clear and timely communication with clinicians on a regular basis and helping with other office administrative tasks and coverage for Medical Assistants. Required Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in related area preferred and at least 1‑year experience as an X‑Ray Technician in a medical practice or similar environment. Current California AART certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Knowledge and full understanding of current radiological standards. Hands‑on experience assisting physicians with procedures and tasks in patient exam rooms, along with a wide range of tasks related to patient care. Effective time‑management and organizational skills, including prioritizing daily tasks. Ability to communicate logically and clearly verbally and in writing, with good listening and professional, courteous interactions with patients, physicians, and coworkers. Ability to ensure accurate, timely completion of assigned tasks. Respectfully accepts coaching and guidance to ensure continual improvement, career growth, and development. PC proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Understand that additional tasks may be assigned to meet business needs. Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Ability to successfully pass a thorough background investigation, including a clean pre‑employment drug screen. Ability to float to surrounding locations. Desired Qualifications Experience working in a busy medical practice environment. Experience using Athena. Any combination of academic education and professional training that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Compensation & Benefits Full‑time position, Monday through Friday, with a competitive pay range of $30–$32 per hour, depending on relevant work experience. Eligible to participate in the company benefit program on the first of the month following 30 days of employment, provided a 30‑hour work week is consistently maintained. Eligible to participate in a 401(k) program with company match on the first of the month following 2 months of employment.
