Journeyman Electrician - Move to Residential Training

AtWork Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for an upcoming short-term opportunity in the Leander area. This position offers steady hours, clean work environments, and the opportunity to work on brand-new residential construction projects with a company willing to train the residential side for candidates with strong commercial experience. Position: • Journeyman Electrician – Up to $36/hr Schedule: • Monday– Friday • 7: 30 AM – 4: 00 PM • 40 hours per week What You’ ll Do: • Perform electrical work in brand-new residential homes • Assist with installations, wiring, and electrical troubleshooting • Read and follow electrical layouts and instructions • Maintain clean and organized work areas • Work closely with the team to complete projects safely and efficiently Requirements: • Minimum 2– 3 years of electrical experience preferred • Commercial electrical experience required • Residential experience is a plus, but training can be provided • Must have reliable transportation • Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test • Spanish speakers are welcome — basic English communication and willingness to use Google Translate if needed is acceptable Additional Information: • Clean and organized job sites — no messy demolition-type work • Candidates applying as teams of 2 or 3 are highly encouraged, as the client is interested in speaking with small crews as well • Opportunity to learn and grow within the residential electrical field Good Fit If You: • Have commercial electrical experience and want to expand into residential work • Enjoy hands-on work and working with a team • Are dependable and safety-focused • Want consistent hours and clean job sites EEO NOTICE AtWork is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
