Warehouse Operations/ Inventory Specialist

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations / Inventory Specialist to manage day-to-day warehouse logistics and inventory accuracy. This role is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of goods within the facility—including receiving, stock auditing, system tracking, and shipping logistics. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between digital data and physical warehouse organization to minimize loss and optimize supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Audits & Control: Conduct regular physical stock counts and systematically reconcile findings with digital records to minimize inventory shrinkage and maintain high data accuracy.
- Receiving & Warehouse Layout: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, manage proactive stock rotation, and organize warehouse/stockroom layouts for maximum efficiency.
- Reordering & Procurement Support: Monitor stock levels consistently and report supply chain requirements to the procurement team to prevent material or product shortages.
- System Management: Trace real-time inventory movement and manage data tracking utilizing advanced Excel files and internal inventory management systems.
- Troubleshooting & Investigations: Research and resolve instances of missing, damaged, or expired stock items, addressing discrepancies quickly.
- Shipping Documentation & Logistics: Support the shipping department by generating necessary shipping documents. Prepare, package, and label outgoing orders securely according to company standards and carrier regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Language: Bilingual English / Spanish is required; candidates must be able to speak, write, and read fluently in both languages.
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in shipping/receiving, general warehouse operations, or industrial logistics.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Physical & Equipment Skills: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate forklifts or alternative material handling equipment (certified operators are a plus).
- Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication and teamwork abilities.
