JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of the guest rooms and hotel corridors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Stock housekeeping cart with supplies.

• Maintain shelf organization in storerooms/ linen closets.

• Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.

• Clean rooms to company standards.

• Inform front desk/ management of maintenance problems or needs.

• Return dishes to Food and Beverage.

• Assist other housekeepers with their rooms and/or stay overs.

• Properly log lost and found items.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.

Language Skills:  Ability to communicate with guests and co-workers.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift objects up to 75 lbs.  Must be able to push/pull up to 75lbs.  Bending, stretching, and twisting is involved.
