Seeking a hardworking, punctual, and responsible Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform both field and shop service repairs as well as shop maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAT, Yanmar, Terex Finlay and Hitachi machinery including excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, crushers, and screeners. This full-time position offers available and encouraged overtime, working primarily in a shop-based team with field duties. OPERATORS NEED NOT APPLY.
Responsibilities
- Perform shop maintenance and field service repairs on heavy equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues
- Conduct welding tasks to repair or fabricate machine components
- Replace parts and components as required
- Test machines to ensure proper functioning after repairs
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Work collaboratively within a shop-based team with field work
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment repair experience
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of hydraulic system repair
- Experience in welding and mechanical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance
- Must have basic and 3/4 drive tools
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
