About the Role:
Columbus Property Services Inc is looking for a skilled and dependable Handyman to join our growing team in Peabody, MA! This is a fantastic opportunity to take your trade skills on the road with a company-provided van and be the go-to problem solver for our valued clients. If you love variety in your workday and take pride in quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of general repairs and maintenance tasks at residential and/or commercial properties
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and more
Travel to job sites using a company-provided van, managing tools and materials efficiently
Communicate professionally with clients to assess needs and explain completed work
Complete jobs on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time on site
Maintain company vehicle and equipment in clean, working condition
Requirements:
Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or general contractor
Proficiency in multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and drywall repair
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple job sites
Strong communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Basic knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
