Industrial Hygienist Duties
Serve as the industrial hygienist, overseeing the storage, management, reconfiguration, and demilitarization of the stockpile of chemical warfare agent configured munitions.
Provide technical input into the ongoing process of reconfiguring and demilitarizing of chemical munitions.
Support a complex environmental program, reviewing all contractor site safety and health plans for adequacy and completeness.
Conduct periodic surveys of working conditions to determine the nature and magnitude of hazardous exposures and the effectiveness of existing control measures.
Establish a program for physical screening of employees exposed to particular toxic materials or physical hazards.
