ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights, EOW

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience with a focus on cardiac care. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, including floating to PCU and Med Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage patients on IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
• Provide post-operative care for Day 2/Day 3 post-op CABG patients.
• Float to PCU and Med Surg as needed based on unit census.

Schedule

This is a 12-hour night shift position, requiring flexibility to work every other weekend and up to 2 additional mandatory shifts within a 6-week period. The typical shifts are scheduled from 0600-1830 or 1800-0630.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, including cardiac experience.
• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required (PALS is preferred for pediatrics).
• Active and in good standing RN license (Compact license accepted).
• EPIC experience is preferred.
