About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years recent hospital experience, with a minimum of 2 years GE experience and Level 3 trauma experience. License: ARRT-MR required. Certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R. Must-Have: Recent hospital experience (not including Per Diem). Level 3 trauma experience. GE experience. Ability to assist with breast patients and positioning. Description: This position involves working in a MRI unit. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM, with potential for call. Candidates must have a minimum of three years recent hospital experience. Candidates must also have two years of GE MRI experience. Experience with level 3 trauma cases is required. The role requires ARRT-MR certification; ARMRIT certification will not be accepted. Candidates will assist with breast imaging and patient positioning. The workload will include a variety of imaging procedures. Candidates will be expected to perform charting using Epic. Infection control measures and safety precautions are required during procedures. The position involves caring for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, children, and geriatrics. Travel and local candidates will not be accepted if they reside within 75 miles of the facility. The requirements include a reference check.
