Receiving Inspector

Our client, aerospace manufacturing industry is seeking a Receiving Inspector to join their team. As a Receiving Inspector, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting aerospace hardware inspection. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, motivation to learn, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Receiving Inspector

Location: Chatsworth, CA

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform documented inspections of incoming aerospace hardware and materials

• Verify purchase order compliance and review supplier documentation including Certificates of Conformance and test reports

• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using calibrated tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Compare inspection results against engineering drawings and specifications, escalating discrepancies as needed

• Accurately record inspection results and maintain traceability documentation in company systems

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 1-2 years of inspection, manufacturing, warehouse, or mechanical experience

• Basic understanding of measurement concepts and blueprint reading (training provided)

• Strong attention to detail and dependability

• Ability to follow structured procedures and communicate effectively
