Join Our Team as a Traveling Physical Therapist

In this role, you will support a hospital outpatient department, with occasional responsibilities in long-term care and skilled swing-bed coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized physical therapy programs.
• Conduct assessments and create treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy processes and goals.
• Engage in interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff, embracing feedback to foster a community-centered care approach.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapy license in Montana is required to commence the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Experience in treating outpatient populations, with the ability to evaluate and manage a diverse range of patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Willingness to provide occasional care in long-term care and skilled swing-bed environments (approximately 5% of your caseload).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in rural or community-focused healthcare settings.
• Prior experience in travel therapy is advantageous.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Estimated outpatient caseload will comprise about 95% of your clinical time, with roughly 5% dedicated to long-term care and skilled swing coverage.
