Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Back Office Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and possess knowledge of vital signs, physiology, anatomy, and X-ray procedures. As a Back Office Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and assisting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care.

Duties:- Perform vital sign measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate- Prepare patients for examinations and assist healthcare providers during procedures- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis- Assist with patient education and provide instructions on medications, treatments, and follow-up care- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in electronic health record systems- Coordinate referrals to specialists and schedule appointments for patients- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assistant program preferred- Previous experience as a Back Office Medical Assistant or similar role is highly desirable- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and internal medicine procedures- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements accurately- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and basic computer skills- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
