The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound exams to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. This role independently conducts a range of imaging studies, with emphasis on OB/GYN when needed, optimizes image quality, and documents findings per protocol. The technologist maintains and inspects ultrasound equipment, performs basic preventive maintenance, manages supplies, and upholds patient safety, privacy, and hospital record-keeping standards in a busy clinical setting.
