QC Lab Analyst

Job Title : QC Lab Analyst
Location : Savannah, GA
Work Model : Onsite
Shift : 2-3-2 rotating schedule (2 days on days, 3 days on nights, then back to 2 days on days.)
Compensation : $27.00/hr
Type : 12-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing using established methods.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Approve or reject materials based on quality specifications.
• Enter test results and data into plant systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting quality issues involving materials and finished products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Science-related education or background required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with effective time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on a rotating shift schedule.
• Preferred
• Laboratory, manufacturing, chemical, or quality control experience.
• Experience using laboratory instrumentation and performing equipment calibrations.
