Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for ED patients, including triage, initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and prioritization of care based on acuity.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans using the nursing process, with ongoing evaluation and adjustment as patient conditions evolve.
- Administer medications and therapies in accordance with established policies, monitoring for adverse effects and ensuring patient safety.
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient throughput.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating assignments and promoting a collaborative care environment.
- Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record; communicate changes to the care team to maintain continuity and safety.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (state-specific licensure requirements apply)
- Ability to practice in an ED environment and manage high-acuity, fast-paced patient care
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with physicians, staff, and patients
- Proficiency with nursing documentation and patient safety standards
- Willingness to work night shifts and adjust to a 12-hour shift schedule
