The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:Assisting veterinarians during physical exams, procedures, and treatmentsPerforming venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiographs, anesthesia monitoring, and dental cleaningsAdministering medications, injections, and subcutaneous fluids as directedCommunicating clearly with clients regarding preventive care, treatment plans, and discharge instructionsMaintaining accurate patient medical records (EzyVet experience a plus)Practicing gentle, low-stress patient handling and safety techniquesEnsuring exam and treatment areas are clean, organized, and fully stockedParticipating in ongoing training and hospital improvement initiativesQualificationsCurrent Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license in Pennsylvania, or eligible for certificationMinimum 1 year of clinical experience in general practice, urgent care, or emergency medicineDemonstrates strong technical ability, communication, and teamwork skillsReliable, organized, and professional in all aspects of patient and client careCompassionate and eager to learn in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentScheduleFull-time position with rotating weekends and occasional evenings or holidays.
