Candidates will care for patients post-surgery. The typical patient ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients; for critical cases, the ratio may be 1 RN to 1 patient. Flexibility with hours is required. The unit typically performs procedures such as craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries. An on-call requirement exists, with a 30-minute response time. Candidates should possess a great attitude and ability to manage stress effectively. Patient experience is prioritized in the unit. Preferred qualifications include prior experience with specific electronic medical record systems. The work environment is described as supportive, with a focus on team collaboration.
