The ideal candidate must possess a technical mindset and demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, while being flexible and adaptable, as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various locations. The Facility Maintenance Technician must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire ongoing training due to ever-evolving technological improvements and performance standardsRising to the Challenge: Position ResponsibilitiesExecute routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs across multiple property locationsMaintain and troubleshoot facility/infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVACPartner with leadership on facility improvements, installations, and upgrades, coordinating with external vendors and contractors as neededMaintain warehouses, tools, and equipment inventory, ensuring all assets remain secure, organized, and in optimal working conditionPrioritize and resolve maintenance requests while ensuring all work orders, labor hours, and parts used are accurately documentedMaintain flexibility to work modified or extended shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on project demands and/or emergency repairsPractice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and proceduresPossess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipmentKnead to Know: Preferred QualificationsMinimum of 2+ years experience in building/facilities maintenance (industrial or commercial preferred)Working knowledge in HVAC, welding, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systemsCMMS systems experience a plusValid United States driver's licenseAbility to frequently stand, walk, bend, and climbAbility to lift up to fifty (50) poundsAbility to work in varying environmental conditions (i.e. heat, cold, confined spaces, etc.)Occasional availability outside of normal business hours to respond to after-hours emergencies or business-critical issuesCan work independentlyAbility to read, write, and have excellent organizational and communication skillsAdditional Ingredients: Essential Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentTechnical/trade school certification or diploma is a plusOSHA or safety training certification a plusSalary Range- $50,000 - $55,000We offer a competitive salary up to $55k and an excellent total rewards package.
