At IDT, you'll be part of a culture rooted in continuous learning and improvement—where your growth fuels our mission to accelerate the pace of genomics and helps shape a healthier, brighter future for all.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair laboratory and mechanical equipmentAssist in developing SOP's, IQOQ's, calibration templates and work instructions for new and existing equipmentProvide leadership in multiple areas of expertise. Assists in developing ideas/making recommendations to management on improving/streamlining existing processesThe essential requirements of the job include:Associate degree in engineering, maintenance, or related field OR several years of experience in a directly related technical role, such as facilities maintenance or engineeringDemonstrated experience in technical writing, including the creation of manual, user guides or technical documentation.Experience working with sketches, technical drawings, and blueprints.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to travel –10%Must have a valid driver's licenseAbility to walk, stand, bend/kneel/crouch, and lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Bachelor's degree in science or engineering field5+ years of experience in a skilled trades or facilities maintenance field, with at least 2 years of experience working with HVAC and mechanical systems and demonstrated ability to install, maintain and calibrate Rees System sensors, and perform advanced troubleshooting and programmingProficient in SAP application for placing purchase requisitions, inventory/requisition lookupIDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
