Senior Activewear Technical Designer

Athleisure and Lifestyle Brand looking for a Senior Technical Designer to lead the technical design process from concept through final production for a fast-growing apparel brand. This is a high-impact role for someone who brings strong fit expertise, a sharp eye for construction, and the ability to partner closely across Design, Product Development, and Production to bring elevated product to market. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—someone who can lead fittings, communicate clearly with vendors, solve technical challenges early, and ensure every garment is aligned with design intent, quality standards, and production requirements. What You’ll Do Lead the technical design process from development through final fit approval Own fittings across categories and provide clear, actionable fit comments Partner cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, and Production Communicate directly with overseas and domestic factories on construction, specs, and revisions Review pre-production, TOP, photoshoot, and marketing samples for fit and quality accuracy Troubleshoot construction and technical issues throughout the product lifecycle Maintain and update tech packs, BOMs, fit comments, fabric charts, and related documentation Track sample status and help ensure on-time delivery for key business needs Support process improvements that drive consistency, scalability, and sample accuracy Requirements Must have performance fabrics and/or activewear experience Deep knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, grading, and fit Strong understanding of how fabric behavior impacts fit, function, and final garment performance Ability to balance aesthetic, technical, and commercial priorities Experience managing multiple styles, deadlines, and approvals in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors Highly detail-oriented, organized, and solutions-driven Leadership mindset with a collaborative, proactive approach Direct Hire Hybrid Schedule- 4 days in office, Friday WFH #J-18808-Ljbffr 24 Seven Talent
