Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance SupervisorWe are looking for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our team of dedicated leaders. This position supervises and coordinates activities of staff engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures and grounds of our skilled nursing facility.We are an established organization in the long term care, rehabilitation, and assisted living industries focused on improving the lives of those we serve in our communities. Dignity, respect and integrity are the core values of our dedicated team.Primary ResponsibilitiesCollects, reviews maintenance requisitions from all units and departments of facility. Reviews information, establishes priorities, assigns staff or inspects, replaces, repairs or otherwise resolves problems.Establishes and conducts scheduled preventative maintenance program throughout physical plant and for all equipment.Maintains and tests the emergency power system to ensure availability of power to all entrances, exits, fire detection alarms and extinguishing equipment, and life support systems in the event electrical supplies are interrupted.Maintains all essential equipment (e.g., boiler room equipment, nursing unit/medication room refrigerators, kitchen refrigerator/freezer, and laundry equipment) in safe operating condition.Required Skills and AbilitiesHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training.Knowledge of maintenance, electrical, life safety.
