Special Counsel

We are partnered with a full-service Southeast regional law firm in search of a Special Counsel for their Charlotte office, joining a team recognized as one of the largest litigation and dispute management practices in the Carolinas. The Opportunity: This is a career opportunity for a seasoned litigator to step into a senior, client-facing role handling complex civil litigation matters. The firm defends businesses across construction, healthcare, transportation, insurance, and hospitality industries. The incoming Special Counsel will work directly with a roster of clients ranging from small and mid-sized businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience managing all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and work directly with clients High level of professionalism and strong interpersonal/business development skills $130,000 – $160,000 base salary, plus a bonus structure based on individual qualifications and experience 100% firm-paid health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with firm contribution Life insurance Parental leave Our client offers the scale and sophistication of a large regional firm with the culture and mentorship of a tight-knit team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
