Packaging AssociateLocation: Saint Joseph, MO 64507 Duration: 0-3+ Months Pay Rate: $18.00/hour on W2 Shift: 1st Shift 6:00 AM to 4:30 PMKey ResponsibilitiesManually erect cases, pack products, and stack finished cases on pallets.Operate and monitor production lines to ensure smooth and continuous operation.Handle production components and ensure the correct materials are used.Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse/production equipment safely.Verify product components, coding, and labels against the current production recipe.Monitor product quality and report damaged or out-of-spec products to Quality Control.Perform continuous cleaning and line adjustments to maintain efficient production.Recommend maintenance, repairs, or process changes when needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by removing clutter and debris.Follow all required PPE and safety procedures.Maintain warehouse/production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.Communicate production issues and concerns to the Plant Manager or appropriate personnel.Maintain dependable attendance and report to work on time.Perform additional production and operational duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.QualificationsMust be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.Must be able to read and understand production documents, SDS, and safety information.Previous production or mechanical experience is preferred/helpful.Workers must provide their own steel-toe/composite-toe safety boots or shoes.Physical RequirementsLift 40–60 lbs, approximately 20–30 times per hour.Stand and work on feet for 8–9 hours per day.Perform frequent bending throughout the shift.Minimal climbing may be required.Work in temperatures between 70–90°F.Work in an environment with minimal dust and good lighting.PPE RequirementsSteel-toe or composite-toe safety boots/shoes are required.Safety glasses must be worn at all times.Gloves are required when formulating active materials.Gloves are required as needed for material handling.Hearing protection must be used when required by operating equipment.Client provides gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.Employee BenefitsAt LanceSoft, full-time regular employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week or more are entitled to the following benefits:Four options of medical InsuranceDental and Vision Insurance401k ContributionsCritical Illness InsuranceVoluntary Permanent Life InsuranceAccident InsuranceOther Employee PerksEEO EmployerLanceSoft is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an equal-opportunity employer.
