We are looking for a Solution Field Application Engineer for our Arrow Global Components branch in Austria.

Your Tasks:

• Technical liaison between customers, our partner companies, and our own sales department
• Close cooperation with the customer's development department, the local field sales team, as well as internal and external resources of Arrow.
• Building and maintaining sustainable relationships in the development departments of our customers at all levels from CTO to R&D engineer
• Identifying new development projects with our customers and accompanying them from the product idea to the series start
• Guiding the technical direction and priorities in customer projects based on the ARROW strategy, as well as our supplier portfolio and market situation.
• Developing optimal technical-commercial system solutions for our customers
• Responsibility for the further development of our business potential through targeted project work with defined strategic customers
• Technical consulting and support of our customers on-site in design and selection of system components (focus on semiconductor for industrial applications such as embedded and HMI systems including software elements)
• Advisory support function of our sales field service in technical issues
• Preparation and conduct of training sessions, technical meetings with customers and suppliers as well as, if necessary, internal training for the local field sales team

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering or telecommunications or comparable training with at least 5 years of professional experience
• Experience as a technical contact person, developer experience in the field of electronics/hardware/firmware development is advantageous
• Experience in the selection and use of microprocessors, processors, and FPGAs for industrial electronics is desirable
• Negotiation skills as well as pronounced communication and persuasiveness
• Understanding of the customer's system architecture
• Strong team capability with high self-motivation
• Strong sales and customer orientation with a sense for potential and innovation
• Experience in using AI-based systems to increase efficiency in developing solutions and analyzing data
• Willingness to travel in (Austria)
• German and English proficient
