LPN Night Shift PositionTurning Point Care Center is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work the night shift in our men's programs. The LPN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. Collaborate with clinical services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point. In addition, duties may include:Patient assessmentsMedication administrationMedication educationProvide direct patient careMaintain a safe, therapeutic environmentMaintain accurate and complete data and recordsPerform observation roundsCommunicate therapeutically and age appropriatelyIntervene with suicidal gestures, inappropriate behaviors, elopements, etc., using proper CPI techniqueTherapeutically communicate with patientsAssists in developing appropriate boundaries and helps to develop social skillsDirect/redirect behaviors, demonstrating appropriate behavioral consequencesRespond appropriately to impulsivity issues as they relate to age specific criteriaRecognize and communicate the physical and psychological status of the patients under their careThis position's days and hours will vary based on a rotational schedule. This position qualifies for shift differential pay. Night shifts are from 5:30pm - 6:00am.
