Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Part Time Morning Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. DayTimeTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns or maintenance issues.
- Monitor access points and activity within the location to help support authorized entry, visitor direction, and compliance with property rules and post instructions.
- Work in varying environments and conditions while maintaining a professional presence and communicating clearly with property management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
