We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Job Description2nd Shift: 3:30pm – 2:00am Mon-ThuStarting Pay is $25-$35 Based on ExperienceDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for troubleshooting and repairing automated, manual and CNC equipment, through equipment manuals and vendor support, in a multifaceted manufacturing environmentUnderstand PLC's, control systems, relays, input/output modules, circuit breakers, VFD's, inverters, transformers, switches, safety circuits, thermos overloads, AC/DC motors, and power distributionLogically report equipment failures and analyze data to increase performance and reliabilityRead and interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics schematicsUnderstand the theory and operation of automated systems: homing routines, I/O status, servo systems, control architectureUtilize CMMS (SAP Maintenance Module) for reporting, preventative maintenance tasks and workflow schedulingComply with company safety standards including, but not limited to- PPE, LOTO and Arc FlashSupport production TPM initiative through development and trainingProficiently utilize measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges and multimeters.Perform planned maintenance on equipment, conforming to frequency and task listProvide route cause counter measures (RCCM) on systemic equipment issuesIdentify replacement components through nameplates, manufacturer's product sheets, or OEM equipment manualsOther related duties as assignedQualificationsComplete understanding of electrical controls, power distribution, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electric motors, AC/DC, heating circuits, PID logic and 3 phasePrior experience working with motion control systems, including servo drives, motors, and encodersKnowledge of Lean manufacturing and 5S concepts and practicesExperience working with a CMMS, SAP a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in the use of computersAble to perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentPLC experience desiredAdditional Information7 Ledgewood Blvd, Dartmouth, MA 02747Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
