Intern - Development - Patient Safety Systems

Gilead Sciences seeks an intern to support patient safety systems development through data analytics, systems analysis, and administrative tasks. The role involves working on reports, dashboards, process documentation, and application support across a 10–12 week summer internship in Foster City, California.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data analytics projects including report and dashboard creation with stakeholder collaboration
• Analyze and visualize data using graphs, infographics, and other methods; create presentations based on findings
• Support systems analysis activities including demand requests, user requirement documentation, and business case authoring
• Assist with enterprise content system administration (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and automated process development
• Provide troubleshooting and application support for patient safety systems and testing during implementation

Requirements

• Enrolled full-time in Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at accredited U.S. university
• Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA at application and hire
• Independent work authorization in United States; no sponsorship required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
