JOB DESCRIPTION

The Boutique Retail Operation Coordinator will provide an exemplary customer experience by maintaining effective support in Boutique Operations. This position reports to the Boutique Manager. The responsibilities include partnering with the Boutique Manager to assess boutique processes and procedures with maximum efficiency and effectiveness as well as providing suggestions and solutions when appropriate. Overall responsibilities will include boutique operations, inventory, visual merchandising, PR partnership and team support with special orders. The candidate will be required to work depending on business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inventory Control, retail product ordering and receiving, partner with Boutique Manager to maintain adequate flow of merchandise, collaborate with other boutiques to transfer product when needed, intercompany transfers compliance.
• Stock rooms mapping and organization.
• Supplies reorders.
• Visual merchandising, implement and maintain impeccable visual displays as per Company and Visual Manager guidelines.
• Assist the team and management with polishing and cleaning.
• Partner with Boutique Manager to ensure that the visual merchandising checklist is completed, and the stores are maintained up to standards.
• Engraving: assist the team with Engraving orders and maintain the accuracy of the engraving spreadsheets.
• Partner with PR and management to assist and offer support with Company initiatives and events.
• Client orders: Partner with the B2C Sales Operations regarding Client’s orders placement and follow up, overseeing all customer backorder, keeping track of production lead times, and communicating with the team.
• Maintain an accurate spreadsheet featuring all client orders. Assist the team one on one with the completion of large orders when needed including placing intercompany PO’s, packing and shipping.

COMPETENCIES

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent time-management & organization skills, ability to focus on multiple responsibilities, detailed oriented.
• General agility with technology: POS system, Office Suite & social media.
• Visual Merchandising skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in retail.
• Experience in retail store operation and inventory.
• Experience in retail visual merchandising.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Retail store hours, weekends and on-call as needed.
• Flexibility with shifts scheduling locations depending on business needs.
• Routine computer, phone, scanner, photocopier usage.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, up to 35 pounds, sometimes heavier using hand truck.
• Climbing stairs, ladders, reaching, bending often with materials in hand.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Irregular hours especially during peak season and events.
