Store Manager - Escondido

Job Overview SK Pools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager (SM) to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our retail locations. As a Store Manager, you will ensure the store meets or exceeds customer service expectations, sales targets, and operational standards. You will lead by example, train and develop your team, and maintain a positive and welcoming store environment for both customers and employees. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Regional Manager to learn and implement best practices in store operations, including sales strategies, profit margins, payroll, and expense management (P&L). Perform water testing and mechanical repairs as needed. Drive growth in both commercial and residential sales and increase overall customer traffic. Ensure the team follows all company and safety protocols. Recruit, train, and retain top talent to support the store's success. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers. Oversee merchandising efforts and maintain inventory accuracy. Responsible for store opening and closing duties, including making daily bank deposits. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED (or currently enrolled in high school) Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or retail Minimum 3 years of experience managing and leading a team Proven ability to be placed in a succession or leadership development program Strong communication skills and computer proficiency At least 5 years of experience in the pool industry Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Why Join Us When you join our team, you're stepping into more than just a job - you're starting a career with a company that values professionalism, teamwork, and a job well done.
