Warehouse Clerk / Forklift Operator

Pay: $21.00–$24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:45 PM
Shift: Full-Time | 1st Shift | Day Shift

We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Clerk / Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a busy manufacturing and distribution facility. This position combines forklift operation, shipping and receiving, inventory control, material handling, and computer-based warehouse transactions .

This is a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable working both on a forklift and on a computer and understands the importance of accurate inventory in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate 5K, 15K, and 30K forklifts
• Load and unload semi-trailers, materials, components, and finished goods
• Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Pull parts and components for production work orders
• Perform routine forklift safety and maintenance checks
• Receive incoming materials and verify part numbers, quantities, and locations
• Enter inventory receipts, transfers, adjustments, and transactions into a computer system
• Maintain accurate stock locations and inventory records
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control
• Keep warehouse shelves, bins, and storage areas organized
• Review packing slips and receiving paperwork for accuracy
• File and maintain daily shipping and receiving documentation
• Coordinate with production to ensure materials are delivered on time
• Inspect incoming chassis/materials for damage and verify identifying information
• Process returned merchandise and defective parts
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and communicate safety requirements to incoming drivers

What We’re Looking For

• Previous forklift and warehouse experience required
• Experience operating large-capacity forklifts strongly preferred
• Shipping, receiving, inventory, or material handling experience
• Comfortable entering and maintaining inventory information on a computer
• Strong attention to part numbers, quantities, locations, and paperwork
• Able to safely load, unload, stage, and move heavy industrial materials
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
• Organized and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Able to follow safety procedures and work independently
