Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned to pediatric services
• Minimum one year licensed RN experience in OR for core positions; Minimum two years for PRN positions
• Licensed RN enrolled in PeriOp101 program must complete successfully within 4 months

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs, including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and educational factors.
• Formulate and implement patient care plans based on assessment data, ensuring collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and nursing care standards.
• Evaluate and document patient progress towards goals, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Participate in the orientation and education of staff, students, and patients as appropriate.
• Uphold all established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while delivering care.

• Follows standard precautions to ensure safety in direct patient care environments.
