Speech Therapist (SLP)

Big Minds, Tiny Hands is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide home-based Early Intervention services to children ages birth to three with developmental delays. This is a fee-for-service position offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work directly with families in their natural environment. The SLP will provide individualized, family-centered therapy services aligned with each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Responsibilities Direct Service Delivery Provide speech and language therapy services in the child’s home or community setting Implement individualized treatment plans based on IFSP goals Use evidence-based, play-based, and routine-based intervention strategies Incorporate parent coaching and caregiver participation during sessions Assessment & Documentation Complete evaluations and re-evaluations as assigned Maintain accurate and timely session notes in compliance with Early Intervention guidelines Complete progress reports within required timelines Track child progress and adjust interventions as needed Family Collaboration Educate and support families on strategies to promote communication development Maintain consistent communication with caregivers regarding progress and goals Provide guidance to families on incorporating strategies into daily routines Coordination & Compliance Collaborate with service coordinators and multidisciplinary team members Adhere to all New York State Early Intervention Program regulations Maintain compliance with documentation, billing, and session requirements Submit required forms (FAD, delay forms, etc.) when applicable Qualifications Required ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligible Experience working with young children (birth to 3) or pediatric population Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience in Early Intervention or home-based services Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus Familiarity with EI documentation systems (e.g., ProviderSoft) Job Details Type: Fee-for-Service (1099 or W-2 based on agency structure) Schedule : Flexible, based on provider availability Caseload : Assigned based on location and availability Why Join Big Minds, Tiny Hands Flexible schedule that supports work-life balance Opportunity to work one-on-one with children and families Supportive team and ongoing collaboration Meaningful work impacting early childhood development #J-18808-Ljbffr Big Minds Tiny Hands
