SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Steward for a beautiful private school in Memphis, TN. Our team is focused on a positive work environment and fantastic food.

The Steward is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. Key duties include washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment; ensuring compliance with health and safety standards; and supporting kitchen operations as needed.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday.
• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Additional hours for catering events with notice.
• Summers off!

Pay Type: $16.50 - $17.50 Hourly

Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!

Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.

Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.

Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.

Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.

Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.

Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.

Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
