Quantity Surveyor E&I

Worley

Worley Job Opportunity

Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Validate installed quantities—such as steel, concrete, piping, equipment, and electrical bulks—against progress claims in the field.
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of installed work to support cost control, earned value analysis, and verification of reporting and billing.
  3. Identify and document any variances in reported quantities to ensure accountability and alignment with project objectives.
  4. Work closely with field supervision, project controls, and construction teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of progress.
  5. Champion safety in the field by adhering to and promoting Worley's safety regulations, standards, and culture of care.
  6. Prepare and deliver clear reports, proposals, and presentations to inform and influence project stakeholders and management.
  7. Troubleshoot and provide support for systems, processes, and tools used in quantity measurement and reporting.
  8. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, driving innovation and efficiency in data-driven project delivery.
Qualifications / Skill Set
  • University degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant field experience will also be considered.
  • Extensive hands-on construction experience, ideally gained as a foreman, project controls specialist, or in a similar leadership capacity within the field.
  • Strong technical expertise in validating installed quantities across multiple disciplines, including structural steel, concrete, piping, and electrical systems.
  • Solid understanding of cost control, progress measurement, and earned value principles.
  • Proficiency with systems, tools, and processes used for construction data tracking and reporting, with the ability to troubleshoot and support others.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance field execution and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare clear documentation and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices and alignment with Worley's ambition of delivering sustainable change.
  • Ability to work in dynamic field environments while maintaining focus on accuracy, efficiency, and sustainability.
