Schedule

Variable schedule including shifts from 06:45 to 19:15 and 14:45 to 23:15, working 40 hours weekly with a combination of 12s and 8s. Note: No back-to-back days and evenings.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory services for a variety of patient needs, particularly in the Emergency Department. The candidate will be required to work with patients aged 13 and older, providing bedside bronchoscopy and operating specialized respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory services in a critical care setting.
• Administer therapies and manage patient ventilation needs.
• Perform bedside bronchoscopy procedures.
• Assist in interpreting arterial blood gases and troubleshooting ventilator parameters.
• Provide pulmonary hygiene and patient education as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience.
• Valid Pennsylvania State Respiratory Therapist License (license in hand is mandatory).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with trauma level I or II facilities preferred.
