Business Analyst 3The Business Analyst 3 position with the Department of Transportation gives you the opportunity to shape the future of major technology systems. You guide system maintenance, updates, and improvements that help major applications operate effectively. As a Business Analyst 3, you will perform the following duties:System Leadership: Oversee technical and analytical support for complex automated data processing systemsProject Coordination: Guide development teams in adapting systems and coordinating application improvementsTeam Supervision: Direct staff responsible for development and maintenance of numerous applications and interfacesCommunication Duties: Prepare status updates and collaborate with internal staff, external partners, and vendorsRequirement Analysis: Facilitate sessions to gather business requirements and document solutions for system updatesIssue Resolution: Evaluate problems, identify solutions, and support enhancements to business applicationsInterested in learning more? May be required to work during an authorized office closing.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as a Business Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orSix years of business process analysis experience; orTwo years of business process analysis experience and a bachelor's degree; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
